  1. What information is needed to find a book or other resource owned by the University Libraries? When searching the OPAC you can search by whatever information you have about the book or resource, such as the surname of the author, the title - whether the complete title or parts of the title - or the year of publication. The OPAC will produce a list of books or resources that meet your search criteria with the most relevant at the top of the list - you can either scan through or sort the list by various criteria such as date published or author surname.
