U.B. students may borrow materials from the regular collection for two weeks. University staff and faculty have longer borrowing periods. Reserve items may be used within the library for two hours or as designated. The reserve collection is located behind the circulation desk. There is a separate audio-visual collection kept in the Instructional Media Department. Students may borrow up to two software items or videos overnight and return them by 10 a.m. the following day.

  1. How many books are students permitted to borrow at one time? 12 books - but always at the discretion of the librarian. You would not be allowed to take all books on the same subject out the the library thereby denying others the possibility of using books on that subject.
